the 1920s and 1930s Villiers two-stroke engines powered a wide range of
motorcycles plus countless lawn mowers, cultivators, compresors, pumps,
lighting generators and so on. While these engines differed in crankcase
mountings, cowlings and cooling fans from those used in motorcycles, the
basic engines were the same, and this book is equally useful to owners
restoring them. The small two-stroke is basically such a simple engine
that if it fails to start or gives trouble its very simplicity makes fault

Written
by E.T. Brown and A.C. Davies, this book was originally published by Sir
Isaac Pitman & Sons in 1950 s The Book of the Triumph. Reset and remastered
by us to A4 size. Covers all model Triumphs between 1935 and 1949.
This
book, written by Ferrers Leigh, was originally published by Sir Isaac
Pitman & Sons in 1955 as The Book of the Velocette, and ran to three
editions. This is a reprint of the third edition, 1963, reset and remastered
by us to A4 size. It majors on the then new LE models, but also gives
full service and mainatenance details for the Valiant, K Series, MOV,
MAC and MSS up to 1962.
Here's
book for the vintage motorcycle enthusiast. It was first published in
its second edition in 1927 by Sir Isaac Pitman and Sons and describes
the 1926-1927 range of BSA Motorcycles with a supplement to cover the
latest models and changes for the 1927 season. It has been remastered
by us to A4. It has plenty of advice about riding and looking after
vintage motorcycles including basic fault finding, servicing and maintenance.
It is a delightful look back to the days of ridng on the open roads
of the 1920s, and though the pages on regulations and legal matters
are obviously out of date today they throw an interesting light on road
signs and conditions at the time, and the attitude of the police towards
speeed traps. A most useful book for owners of vintage BSAs.
Factory
illustrated parts list originally published by Aerial Motors in March
1956. Remastered to A4 by us. It covers 350 HunterNH, 500 Red Hunter VH,
600 Sidevalve VB, 500 Scrambles Red Hunter HS and 500 Trials Red Hunter
HT. Major assemblies such as engine, gearbox, clutch, hubs, forks and
so on are illustrated with full-page drawings.
Lambretta
scooters had a massive following in the 1950s and 1960s, and still have
a huge band of enthusiast owners, almost a cult following, today. This
handbook and Service instructions was originally publishe by Innocenti
in Milan in 1958. It has been reset and remastered to A4 by us.It is
not a full workshop manual, but contains all the information necessary
to keep these little scooters on the road and running well.
Originally
written by W. C. Haycraft, this manual was published by Sir Isaac Pitman
and Sons as The Book of the Norton, fifth reprint 1946. It has ben remastered
by us to A4. It is not a full factory workshop manual, but it is quite
comprehensive and covers all sidevalve, overhead valve and overhead camshaft
machines of the 1930s. It has all the information necessay for an owner
to keep these classic British motorcycles on the road and running well.
